Gerald Knight, Chairman

Gerald and his wife Margaret founded what is now GKA in 1987, having previously spent 12 years overseas, mainly at the United Nations in New York and Geneva. Gerald concentrates on strategic input to major projects, particularly in terms of high level relations with local authorities and other key stakeholders.

Rob Allaway, Managing Director

Rob has been with GKA since 1997 and has been Managing Director since 2009. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. He oversees the strategic direction of projects, advises on a number of specific schemes and works with the Board to deliver GKA’s strategic objectives.

Paul Vicary, Director

Paul joined GKA in 2000 and was appointed a Board Director in 2010. His professional qualifications span politics and planning and he is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Paul draws on his extensive know-how of all the elements that make up a successful communications campaign to advise clients and oversee his project team.

Maria Allaway, Director

Maria was appointed Director in 2012 having been with GKA since 2003. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Maria has had hands-on experience of all aspects of successful project delivery and – as well as providing high level strategic advice and direction – is responsible for the evolution and delivery of public affairs campaigns through her team.
